MOSES KELLY AUTO-BIOGRAPHY
Moses Kelly is originally from Gambia. He grew up in Churchill’s Town and attended Serekunda Primary School. He later went to Nusrat High School.
In August 2000, Kelly completed his high school education and then worked with the local council for a period of five years. Despite his contribution and his dedication to work with the local council in his hometown of Serekunda, music has always been his passion. His music career started with freestyle at the age of 13. From that moment, he decided to take music seriously as a career. Alongside Mad Jigsi, OJ Ranking and MC Flex, Kelly formed “The Exodus Crew” and became the lead singer of the group.
With Exodus Crew trio, he performed at many venues, including the Independence Stadium, Jaama Hall, Spy Bar, Jokor West Field, Rasta Garden... all in his native smiling coast of The Gambia in West Africa.
Kelly is now becoming an outstanding artist with even more self-confidence. As most Gambians, he went through rough times trying to make a living out of music.
In pursuit of his dream, Moses Kelly decided to migrate to Europe. His next stop would later be the United Kingdom where despite the hard challenges he faces, he‘s still pushing to achieve his dreams.
Feel the Pressure is one of Kelly’s successful songs that translate his struggle and pain through the time. Hailed from a very strong cultural and traditional background, he always believes that The Most High God has always been there for him and that Jah is the guidance to his dreams. It’s amazing that most of his lyrics have to do with the story of his life... the struggles, pain, frustration and destitution as a poor child in pursuit of success.
Moses has been also using his music to inform, educate and entertain the youths of his native country. “Feel the Pressure is a Babylon desire, Feel the pain if you wanna reach higher”.
Moses Kelly is truly proud of his roots and culture. He is currently working on his solo Album with his two latest singles LIGHTNING & NO MORE WAR from Sistalu Music Production. The two singles are already getting popular across the nations.
Moses Kelly’s music can be best described as “GOOD MOOD MUSIC”, blended with both organic and natural flavours.
